These are for a monthly feature in Reader's Digest, commissioned by Martin Colyer (who is a really nice guy if you ever get the chance to work with him). The 1st image refers to the fact that war has resulted in many new words, the 2nd image is to illustrate 'Petrichor', which is the smell that the ground gives off when it starts to rain.
